Ho Chi Minh City will launch fireworks at many locations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)
Notably, the city will launch fireworks on the two weekends before major holidays, specifically on April 19 and 26, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere before the big day.
On the evening of April 19, Ho Chi Minh City set off high-altitude fireworks at Saigon Riverside Park, Thu Duc City, starting at 9:30 p.m., lasting about 10 minutes.
Ben Bach Dang area - where there is a beautiful view - is an ideal place to admire the brilliant fireworks display. People and tourists should come early to choose the most favorable location.
In addition to fireworks display activities, Ben Bach Dang Park is also where Brigade 96 organizes fireworks training in both morning and afternoon. Here, visitors can see with their own eyes the mao boats arranged to serve the fireworks display ceremony, contributing to the solemn and magnificent atmosphere of the event.
In addition to fireworks, from the evening of April 19, Ho Chi Minh City will launch a series of cultural and artistic activities with the program "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" at the outdoor stage in front of the City People's Committee headquarters.
The program starts at 7:30 p.m., highlighted by a 3D Mapping projection combined with lighting on the facade of the building, along with diverse art performances from symphony music, suitable for contemporary folk.
On the evening of April 20, the art program "The land of joy" will take place at the outdoor stage of Thong Nhat Hall, with music and dance performances combined with live stage.
In particular, on the evening of April 29, an art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South will also be held at this location.
Due to the increased traffic flow to the central area of Ho Chi Minh City during the holidays, authorities recommend that people and tourists proactively arrange means of transportation, prioritize the use of public transport or metro to conveniently visit, have fun and enjoy fireworks displays.
