- Highest temperature: 30-33 degrees C.

Follow the weather forecast before departure, especially if you have a schedule to go up the mountain, trekking or travel through mountain passes. The Northwest region is experiencing times when the soil is humid and slippery after rain.
Prepare a compact raincoat and good-grip shoes, especially when sightseeing outdoors or hiking.
Prioritize outdoor activities during the day, take advantage of sunny times; limit trekking or going on mountain passes in the late afternoon when the possibility of thunderstorms increases.
If there are thunderstorms, you should temporarily stop activities in open areas, mountain peaks or near tall trees, wait for the weather to stabilize and then continue the journey.
For motorbike or self-driving schedules, speed should be reduced when the road is wet and the road condition should be checked before passing through the pass routes, because rain in mountainous areas can increase the risk of slipperiness and landslides. Recommendations for traveling to the Northwest in the rainy season also remind tourists to depart early and limit evening travel.
