From the night of September 18 to September 19, the area from Nghe An to Hue City will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms. Common rainfall is 30-60mm, locally over 100mm. Some areas are at risk of rain with intensity over 80mm in 3 hours.
On September 19, the Northwest, Phu Tho, Hanoi City and Ninh Binh will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, common rainfall of 10-30mm, locally heavy rain over 50mm.
In the South, in the afternoon and evening of September 18, there will be rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places. Common rainfall is 20-40mm, locally over 80mm. The Central Highlands region, Khanh Hoa and eastern Lam Dong have scattered showers and thunderstorms, rainfall is 10-30mm, locally over 60mm.

On the night of September 19 and on September 20, the area from Ha Tinh to Hue City, Southern Vietnam and Lam Dong continued to have moderate rain and thunderstorms, common rainfall of 20-40mm, locally heavy rain over 80mm.
Heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas and industrial parks; and increase the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams and landslides on slopes.
