According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, November 11, storm No. 14 Fung-wong is still active in the East Sea.
It is forecasted that by 7:00 p.m. today, the center of the storm will be at about 20.8 degrees North latitude - 118.4 degrees East longitude, in the eastern sea of the North East Sea. The storm is moving north-northeast at a speed of 10-15 km/h, towards mainland Taiwan (China). The storm is expected to make landfall on the evening of November 12.
Due to the influence of storm No. 14, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 82; the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 11-13, gusts of level 16, waves 5.08,0m high, the area near the storm's eye will have 8.0-10.0m. The sea is rough.
All ships operating in the above dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.
On the mainland of Vietnam, the Northern region will have cloudy skies, with scattered showers and thunderstorms at night and in the morning. Other areas will have cloudy weather, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night, and sunny days.
