From tonight to tomorrow, November 23, Hue City and the eastern provinces from Da Nang City to Gia Lai will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 30-70mm, locally over 130mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain (>100mm/3 hours).

Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes.

It is forecasted that from last night, November 21 to this morning, November 22, the flood on the Ba River will fluctuate according to the regulation of the hydroelectric reservoir, at the Cung Son station above level 2; the flood on the Krong Ana River will continue to decrease and stay above level 3, the Dong Nai River will continue to decrease and stay above level 2.

Warning today, floods on Dinh Ninh Hoa River continue to decrease and are at level 3; floods on Cai Phan Rang River (Khanh Hoa) at Phan Rang Station fluctuate above level 1; downstream floods of Ba River at Phu Lam Station fluctuate above level 1; floods on Srepom River (Dak Lak) at Ban Don Station continue to rise above level 3.

Widespread flooding occurred in provinces/cities from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa. There is a high risk of flash floods on rivers and streams and landslides on steep slopes of provinces/cities from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa.
