The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updates the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (May 14) in regions across the country.
On the night of May 13th, the Northern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night, hot sunny during the day, with intense heat in some places.
From Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night, hot sun and intense heat during the day.
Other areas have showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny during the day, hot in some places; especially the South continues to experience hot weather. From the evening of May 15, scattered showers and thunderstorms appeared in many places.
In the North, the weather is generally showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon. From about the night of May 16, thunderstorms increased, showers and scattered thunderstorms appeared, locally heavy to very heavy rain.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak on May 16-17 will continue to have hot weather, with intense hot weather in some places. From the evening of May 17, this area will turn to scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rain concentrated in the late afternoon and evening.
Other areas across the country maintain weather patterns with showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially in the afternoon and evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms appear. The meteorological agency continues to warn that in thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
