The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (June 1) in regions across the country.
On June 1st, hot sun appeared in the western mountainous area from Thanh Hoa to Hue City with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C. The relative lowest humidity is commonly from 50-55%.
On June 2nd, hot weather expanded to the Northern Delta and the South of Phu Tho province with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C. In the North Central and Central Central regions, hot weather continued to be maintained, with intense hot weather in some places with common temperatures from 35-37 degrees C, in some places above 37 degrees C; the lowest humidity fluctuates from 45-50%.
It is forecasted that from June 3 to 5, widespread heat will occur in the North, the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak. This heat wave is likely to last for the following days.
Meanwhile, in the late afternoon and night of May 31, the area from Quang Ngai to Lam Dong will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 20-40mm, in some places over 80mm. The meteorological agency warns of the risk of heavy rain, exceeding 80mm within 3 hours.
In addition, in the late afternoon and night of May 31, the Southeast region will have rain, moderate rain with rainfall from 15-30mm, locally over 50mm. Da Nang City and the Mekong Delta provinces will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, common rainfall 10-20mm, locally over 40mm.
