In the next 6 hours, many areas in Da Nang City and Khanh Hoa province are at risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams along with landslides and subsidence in steep slopes.
Risk areas in Da Nang City: Ba Na, Ben Giang, Ben Hien, Dong Giang, Hiep Duc, Nam Giang, Hai Van Ward, Phu Thuan, Que Phuoc, Song Vang, Tam My, Tay Giang, Thanh Binh, Thuong Duc, Tien Phuoc, Tra Lien and Tra My.
Risk areas in Khanh Hoa: Tay Khanh Son, Bac Ai Tay, Bac Ninh Hoa, Hoa Tri, Nam Khanh Vinh, Tan Dinh, Tay Khanh Vinh, Tay Ninh Hoa, Trung Khanh Vinh, Van Ninh and Van Thang.
People and tourists in the above areas need to proactively monitor weather developments, limit moving through hilly areas, spillways, and small streams during heavy rain to ensure safety.
From the night of May 17, the weather in many areas across the country changed when thunderstorms increased again, locally heavy to very heavy rain appeared.
The Northern region from the night of May 17-22 is forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy to very heavy rain.
