The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (June 20) in regions across the country.
On June 20, the Northern Delta region will continue to experience hot weather, with intense heat in some places with the highest temperature commonly from 35-36 degrees C, some places above 37 degrees C. The relative lowest humidity is commonly from 55-60%.
In the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, hot and intense heat is maintained on a large scale. The highest temperature is commonly from 36-38 degrees C, in some places exceeding 38 degrees C. The relative lowest humidity is commonly from 50-55%.
On June 21, hot weather will continue to cover the midland and delta areas of the Northern region with the highest temperature commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest humidity ranges from 55-60%.
Meanwhile, the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak still maintain intense heat. The highest temperature is commonly from 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C, the lowest humidity is from 50-55%.
The meteorological agency predicts that hot weather in the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are likely to last for many days to come. From around June 22-23, hot weather may expand and occur on a large scale in the Northern region.
Meteorological experts note that hot and intense heat combined with low air humidity increase the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand, while also posing a risk of forest fires. In addition, prolonged exposure to high temperatures can cause the body to lose water, become exhausted and affect health.
