On July 22, hot sun appeared in the area from Nghe An to Quang Tri, with intense heat in some places with the highest common temperature of 35-37 degrees Celsius, and above 38 degrees Celsius in some places. The lowest humidity during the day was from 50-55%, the hot sun lasted from 11 am to 5 pm.
Meanwhile, the area from Hue City to Da Nang City and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak continue to record hot and intense heat, especially intense in some places. The highest temperature is commonly 36-38 degrees Celsius, in some places exceeding 39 degrees Celsius; the lowest humidity is 45-50%. The hot time takes place from 10 am to 5 pm.
On July 23, hot weather will be maintained in the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak. The highest temperature is commonly 35–37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius; the lowest humidity is from 50–55%. The hot weather will be concentrated from about 11 am to 5 pm.
The meteorological agency assessed that from July 24, hot weather in the Central region tends to gradually decrease.
Due to the impact of hot weather combined with low air humidity, the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas and forest fires increases, especially in the context of increasing electricity demand.
In addition, people and tourists visiting should limit direct exposure to heat for a long time to avoid dehydration, exhaustion and heat shock, and proactively replenish water and take health protection measures.
