Meanwhile, the South and Lam Dong will have moderate to heavy rain, rainfall from 20-40mm, some places may exceed 100mm.
Tourists visiting tourist attractions such as Sa Pa (Lao Cai), Moc Chau (Son La), Hue, Da Lat (Lam Dong) or southern provinces should prepare raincoats, umbrellas and limit outdoor activities in the late afternoon and evening, when thunderstorms appear a lot.
From the evening of July 27 to July 28, heavy rain tends to increase in the mountainous and midland areas of the Northern region. Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Son La provinces are forecast to have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, common rainfall from 30-70mm, locally over 150mm.
The remaining localities in the North also have moderate rain, thunderstorms with rainfall from 20-40mm, locally over 70mm. The meteorological agency warns of the risk of heavy rain, with some places exceeding 100mm in just 3 hours.
By the night of July 28, rain in the Northern mountainous provinces will continue. The total rainfall in the period from the evening of July 27 to the end of July 28 is commonly from 50-120mm, many places may exceed 250mm.
In the Central Highlands and Southern regions, moderate to heavy rain will continue to be maintained with common rainfall of 20-50mm, locally over 100mm.
