The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight April 7 and tomorrow April 8 in regions across the country.
Northern region no rain at night; hot and intense heat during the day.
On September 8-9, hot weather continued to increase on a large scale, in which the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the East of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak appeared intense hot weather, especially intense in some places. The highest temperature is commonly 37-39°C, many places exceed 40°C, low humidity is only about 35-40%.
In the Northwest region, hot and intense heat will be maintained with the highest temperature of 36-38°C, in some places above 38°C; common humidity is 45-50%.
Meanwhile, the Southern Red River Delta, Central Highlands and Southern regions record widespread hot sun, the highest temperature is 35-36°C, in some places above 36°C; the lowest humidity is about 50-55%.
Forecast for two days, September 8th and 9th, the areas from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City and the East of Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will continue to be the focus of intense heat, especially intense in some places; other areas will still maintain widespread heat. This heat wave is warned to last for many days to come.
The level of natural disaster risk due to hot weather is determined at level 1.
The prolonged high temperature combined with low humidity increases the risk of fire and explosion in residential areas due to a sharp increase in electricity demand.
People and tourists should be wary of the risk of water loss and heat shock if exposed to prolonged hot sun outside.
