According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the night of March 17, the cold air mass will affect the Northeast region, then spread to the North Central region, Northwest, Central Central region and some places in the South Central region.
On land, the Northeast wind gradually strengthens to level 3, coastal areas reach level 3-4, some places gust level 6.
The weather in the North and the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue will continue to maintain cold weather, especially in the mountainous areas of the North with severe cold.
The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions will generally be from 13-16 degrees Celsius, in the high mountains of the North, some places will be below 10 degrees Celsius. The area from Quang Binh to Hue will have temperatures ranging from 16-18 degrees Celsius.
Due to the influence of the strengthening cold air, the area from Ha Tinh to Khanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally moderate to heavy rain.

Weather forecast for some tourist destinations in the Central region such as Quang Binh, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An will have rain, some places will have showers until March 19. At around March 20 and 21, the rain will decrease, with clouds.
Nha Trang weather forecast will have rain in some places on March 19.
During thunderstorms, people and tourists need to be on guard against tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
