Cold air causes rain in the North, hot sun in the South

It is forecast that the weakening cold air mass will cause rain in the North, but the weather will still have thunderstorms, and the South and Central Highlands will be widely sunny and hot.

According to the latest weather forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of the weakening cold air wave, tonight and early morning March 2nd, the Northern region will be cloudy with scattered thunderstorms. By noon and afternoon, the sky tends to decrease in clouds, dry, sunny but not too harsh.

However, from around April 4, a new cold air mass is forecast to pour down, causing thunderstorms in mountainous areas and causing temperatures throughout the region to drop significantly. The interaction between hot and cold air masses may cause extreme phenomena such as thunderstorms, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

On the night of April 3rd, the weather in the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, after the evening and night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. By the period from about April 8th, there is a possibility of widespread hot weather.

The North Central region has sunshine from early morning but not too hot due to the hot low pressure area operating weakly. In general, the weather is quite stable, favorable for living and tourism.

In the South Central Coast, the weather is mainly sunny and dry, with little rain. Sunshine appears during the day but not too intense, the weather is relatively dry and airy.

Meanwhile, the Central Highlands region continues to be affected by stable weather patterns, with little clouds and prolonged strong sunshine. Hot weather is still widespread, and low humidity increases the risk of forest fires.

The Southern region enters the peak of the dry season with high temperatures maintained in many places. Clear skies, sunshine appears from early morning and lasts until late afternoon, especially in the Eastern region. Some localities may record temperatures at the threshold of intense heat.

People and tourists planning to travel to the North during this time should pay attention to weather forecasts. Bring umbrellas and raincoats to prevent sudden weather changes. Tourists coming to the South should bring sunscreen and drink enough water to ensure health.
