Nam Nghep village (also known as Nam Nghiep) belongs to Ngoc Chien commune, Son La province, is a village with a large number of Mong people living, located at an altitude of 2000 - 2500m above sea level. With more than 2,500 hectares of Ngoc Chien commune growing Son Tra, of which most of the area is located in Nam Nghep village, this place is also known as the "Son Tra capital".
This year, Nam Nghep is not only a bumper harvest of Son Tra flowers but also coincides with the time when ban flowers bloom. Tourists can plan to "change the wind" for the weekend with 2 days and 1 night from Hanoi to Nam Nghep to admire Son Tra flowers and ban flowers from the Northwest.

How to get from Hanoi
For convenient transportation, the group of 6 people rented a private car with a local driver to take them in the direction of Hanoi - Ngoc Chien - Nam Nghiep - Lim Mong - Hanoi. The car rental cost is 5 million VND for 2 days.
On the first day, the group departed from Hanoi at 4 am, running straight on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway and arrived at Ngoc Chien at 11 am to have lunch break.
Accommodation
The group chose to stay in stilt houses in Hoa Son Tra Eco & Glamping, the room rental cost is 150,000 VND/person.
Homestay right at the gate of Nam Nghep village, with full community stilt houses, private rooms and camping tents for tourists to choose from.
Eating
At noon on the first day, the group ate Northwest specialties at Viet Bac restaurant. Lunch costs were 700,000 VND for the group of 6 people.
- On the evening of the first day and the morning of the second day, the group chose to eat black chicken hotpot and egg instant noodles at the homestay. The total cost is 1.8 million VND.
- At noon on the second day, the group ate a tray of Northwest specialties at Pho Nui restaurant (Tu Le) for a total of 1.4 million VND.
- Around Nam Nghep village, there are some water stalls where tourists can choose to sit, Viet Anh suggests trying to drink quite delicious Son Tra water, or sit in a cafe to watch paragliding at Clubhouse Mebayluon Paragliding in Lim Mong village.

Ban flowers bloom a lot at the community cultural house of Luot village, Ngoc Chien commune.
Ban flowers and kapok flowers can be admired when walking along the road to Nam Nghep village because they are blooming very beautifully, white throughout the pass.
Son Tra flowers around Nam Nghep village, Viet Anh shared that you only need to walk for one afternoon to be able to admire the scenery and take photos at many beautifully blooming trees.

Flowers along the road from the welcome gate to the village stadium bloom later, so they are still quite beautiful and white, the ancient trees deep in the village from the stadium entering are quite withered, there are not many flowers left and the trees are taking leaves.

Notes when traveling Nam Nghep
The road to Nam Nghep village as well as around the village has been paved with asphalt and concrete, but the pass road is quite winding and steep, so people should hire local drivers for safety.
Nam Nghep village is still very pristine and has few shops, tourists should book food in advance at homestays.
Phone signals in the village are sometimes intermittent and easily lose signal when contacting.
