"Gia dinh vu - The days of the sky" features artists including Jun Pham, Bui Cong Nam, Duy Khanh, Rhymastic and Ngoc Thanh Tam.
Right from episode 1, the program caused a fever on social networks thanks to its beautiful frameworks and gentle stories as the "brothers and sisters" experienced the life of farmers in Ban Lien, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province.

Guide Do Ngoc Phuc (27 years old) used to be a volunteer in Bac Ha, sharing that he has a very special affection for this place. According to him, the reality TV show of the brothers has let tourists know more about Ban Lien.

Moving to Ban Lien
Book a bus such as Futa Ha Son, Truc Nghiu... running from Hanoi the previous night to 5-6am the next morning will arrive at the Bac Ha District Bus Station. Bus tickets are about 350,000 VND/person/way.
If you can't find a car running directly on the Hanoi - Bac Ha route, you can experience the train or bus to Lao Cai, and catch a combination car to Bac Ha.
Then rent a motorbike in the center of the district, or call a motorbike taxi to Ban Lien about 22km away. The rental price of a motorbike is 150,000 VND/day.

Residence
Lien village has a number of popular homestays, currently best known as Ms. Thong's house (BanLien Pine homestay) which was once a place and experience for artists in "Gia gia vu". Ms. Thong's house has been fully booked until July, you can contact to book in August and September.
In addition, the village also has Vang Binh homestay, Nang Can homestay, Huong Hoan homestay... The price for a night's sleep at a group stilt house is about 150,000 VND/person.
You should bring mosquito spray, towels, and personal hygiene items because the new homestay members are not qualified.

Eat and drink
Book a meal at the homestay for about 100,000 - 120,000 VND per meal, the food is almost a local specialty harvested right in the garden.
Some outstanding dishes of Bac Ha that you can try when going to the market include men men, sour rice, won chariots, Hanh Luc...
Experience schedule
Day 1: Morning travel to Ban Lien, book a room, rest at homestay and have lunch.
Afternoon, walk around the village, play with the children of the village to experience farmers' lives such as catching fish, fishing, going up hills to pick sweet soup, going out to the stream to pick vegetables, cooking local dishes, learning about star sweet soup, roofing pineapple...
The rice summer is in the lush green season, so you can check-in the terraced fields in the village.

Day 2: Early in the morning, get up to the commune center, go to the market of Ban Lien commune (if the 5th session), go to the stream, walk into the waterfall (the trail to the waterfall is 22,5084800, 104,4003185). Then return to the homestay for lunch and have lunch break.
At around 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., travel to the district center: pick up a bus to Hanoi if traveling for only 2 days and 1 night; continue to Ngai Thau hill to hunt for sunset in the rice valley. The road to the hill should be on foot to ensure safety.
In the evening, return to a homestay to have dinner at home, chat and learn about the Tay ethnic culture in Ban Lien.

Day 3: Early morning, visit famous places in the district center such as Dinh Hoang A Tuong, Bac Ha market (Sunday morning)... In the afternoon, take a bus back to Hanoi.

The total cost of the trip to experience Ban Lien and Bac Ha is about 1.5 - 2 million VND/person.

Lien village grows sweet soup for international export, so if you visit the village, don't forget to buy it as a gift.
In July and August, you can visit more terraced fields in Quan Din Nghe commune or go to Sin Che commune, Si Ma Cai district.
