With a large number of battlefields, people and tourists have many choices when looking for suitable fireworks locations to welcome New Year's Eve.
Convenient public spots for observation
The 2026 high-altitude fireworks display locations at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Thong Nhat Park, My Dinh F1 racetrack campus, Ho Van Quan, Hoa Binh Park, Gia Lam Park all have large spaces, easy access, and many high-rise buildings around, so the view is relatively good.
Especially in the area around Hoan Kiem Lake, due to narrow roads, many trees and close distance, viewers should choose high positions to have a complete viewing angle.
In the suburban area, high-altitude battlefields at Son Tay Citadel, Thanh Tri regulating lake land and Dong Anh Sports Center have the advantage of not being obscured, with clear views from many directions.
Low-altitude firing points
With low-altitude fireworks, viewers should stand near the battlefield at Ngoc Khanh Lake, Den Lu Lake Park, Long Bien Park, Dong Da Lake, Cau Giay Park, Thanh Xuan Park to clearly feel the sound and lighting effects.
Cafes, bars watching fireworks
Many high-rise bars at 4-5 star hotels in Hanoi are a familiar choice when you want to watch fireworks from above, often sold with a dining service package ranging from 1-3 million VND per customer.
In the Old Quarter, hotels and bars around Hang Trong, Ta Hien, Hang Be, Dao Duy Tu, Nha Chung or near Thong Nhat Park have both indoor and outdoor seating. On New Year's Eve, many places offer free parking, customers buy drinks and then choose their own viewing locations.
Some shops with high floor advantages such as Kitsune Coffee, Aries Rooftop Coffee or Helios Skyview also accept early reservations for customers who want to hunt for views.
In addition, rows of shops along the Trich Sai, Nguyen Dinh Thi or around Van Quan Lake provide a relatively favorable view. Most shops do not sell separate fireworks tickets, but will apply a special menu from about 10 pm; drink prices are usually higher than usual days.
