The strawberry season in Moc Chau usually starts from November and lasts until the end of April of the following year. The time when strawberries ripen and are most delicious is around January to March. Under the cool weather and the characteristic dry sunshine of the highlands, Moc Chau strawberries have a mild sweet taste, a characteristic slight sourness and a mild fragrance.
These days, strawberry gardens in Moc Chau are always bustling with visitors. In particular, families often take advantage of weekends to bring their young children to play and experience picking strawberries on the spot.

When coming to strawberry farms, visitors can personally hold baskets, pull and choose the ripest red and plump strawberries when buying tickets or registering to pick strawberries.
Experiencing striping leaves to find fruit and cutting early morning dew-staining strawberries with your own hands brings a strange delight. The best thing is tasting fresh strawberries just picked right in the garden.

Ms. Dang Huyen (tourist from Hanoi) shared: "Taking advantage of the weekend, I took my children to Moc Chau to experience picking strawberries. Watching my children excitedly harvest and carefully pack them to bring back as gifts for grandparents, I feel the trip is very meaningful. Strawberries picked in the garden are both fresh and crispy, eating them right on the spot you can clearly feel the natural sweetness.
In addition to picking strawberries, many farms also organize short tours. Tourists learn about the process of growing strawberries according to organic standards, from seedling planting to fertilization and care to produce the safest fruits.

Moc Chau has many lovely strawberry gardens. Conversely, if you want to find peace and closeness to nature, please take the time to move a little further to villages like Pa Phach, Thung Cuong or along the road to Ngu Dong Ban On.
Tickets to the strawberry garden are usually free or range from 20,000 - 50,000 VND/person. The price of strawberries harvested at the garden ranges from 250,000 - 400,000 VND/kg depending on the size and variety of strawberries (Korean, Japanese or New Zealand). Visitors should visit the garden in the early morning to find the plumpest and freshest fruits.
Before leaving, you should call to check the garden's strawberry ripening condition and ask clearly about the price, to avoid unnecessary problems. Don't forget to prepare comfortable shoes because you will have to move quite a lot between strawberry beds.
