After two years of exploring new lands in Vietnam, Nguyen Ngoc Minh (30 years old, Soc Trang) has "indulged" his wife and children by camping from the South to the North, from pristine beaches to foggy mountain passes. In particular, because the whole family wants to find a quiet place, Minh often drives his wife and children to camping areas with few people, open spaces and "super beautiful" views.
However, before long trips in remote areas, male tourists often make a long list of necessary items to ensure safety and comfort: tents and sleeping bags with priority options of waterproof and windproof; kitchen utensils with mini gas stoves, compact pots and pans and dry foods such as instant noodles, canned food, coffee; first aid kit and basic medicine; survival tools with multi-purpose knife, flashlight, spare charger, fire starter. In particular, on each trip, he prepares at least 10 liters of water for daily use and drinking water.

In addition, regarding the pickup truck that accompanies every family trip, Mr. Minh has upgraded a few items to optimize the camping experience such as increasing the area of the roof rack and storage box; winch and off-road tires to move through difficult roads; auxiliary lighting system and backup power source.
With such powerful "assistants", the male tourist did not hesitate to "show off" that he had discovered more than 60 of the most beautiful camping spots in Vietnam. He spent a lot of time finding beautiful places in Da Lat such as the three pine trees area, La An hill, Suoi Vang lake, Thong Nhat hill, sculpture tunnel...
"In Da Lat, the pine forests, quiet lakes and cool climate all year round make me feel like I'm slowing down and enjoying every moment," he revealed the reason.

Anh Minh continued to share about his experiences: "If you want to welcome the first rays of sunshine on the mainland of Vietnam, I think there is no place more beautiful than Dam Mon, Khanh Hoa province. When the sun rises from the horizon, the whole sea sparkles with gold, everything becomes brilliant and full of life. That moment makes me feel like I have just started a new day full of energy."
In addition to the beautiful memories, his family also encountered difficult challenges. Once, while camping in the Nam Cat Tien forest, Minh suddenly discovered a snake crawling near the tent. After that, he asked the locals to help chase the snake away.
He added: "Another time, my wife got a poisonous caterpillar on her hand, causing her skin to swell, turn red, and itch terribly. I immediately used tape to remove the caterpillar's hair, washed it with diluted salt water, applied allergy medicine, and rested for a while. I learned a lesson from each trip: always check around the tent before going to bed, bring insect repellent, and know how to handle basic situations."

In 2025, Mr. Minh hopes to take his wife and children on a motorbike from Vietnam to Thailand and explore Southeast Asian countries. At the same time, he also researches areas that allow camping at famous landmarks in neighboring countries such as Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, etc.
