For travelers who travel tirelessly, Spring always carries the symbol of a youthful and abundant vitality. Spring flowers, whether shy or brilliant, still carry hidden charm.
Having visited 60 countries around the world, admired spring flowers in many continents, and visited China many times, but for Ms. Tran Dieu (39 years old, Da Nang), the white pear color, pink peach color and yellow color of mustard flowers in the southern mountainous provinces of China still always urged her to cherish a trip here.
Symphony of Flower Colors
In the last two weeks of March, when spring in China was the most brilliant of the year, Ms. Dieu and her friends decided to set off to explore 3 provinces: Sichuan, Guizhou and Jiangxi. Spring in China starts from March to May, with bright, sweet colors that still make Vietnamese female tourists flutter non-stop.
In Jinchuan County, Sichuan Province, Ms. Dieu is impressed with the white color of pear blossoms blooming all over the mountain slopes, creating a rare and pure scene. Going further, the Four Girls Mountains appear majestic with snow-covered peaks all year round, likened to the "Alps of China" or "Little Switzerland". This place is famous for its pristine valley, rustling pine forests and jade-green lakes.
Going to Guizhou, the journey continues with Binh Ba - a place famous for cherry blossoms, Hoang Qua Thu waterfall that appeared in the movie "Journey to the West", the scenic spot of Tieu That Khong in Le Ba district and Tay Giang Mieu Trai - the largest Miao village in the world.
In Jiangxi, Vietnamese female tourists are most impressed with the beauty here: "I am most impressed with Vong Tien Coc (Vong Tien Valley). This was originally an old quarry that was revived into a fairy world hanging on a cliff. This tourist area has also just emerged in China in the last 10 years. Witnessing it with my own eyes, I am really overwhelmed," Ms. Dieu said.
She still remembers vividly the memory of walking under the drizzling rain at Vong Tien Coc, which was both magical and like getting lost in Ghibli cartoons and dreamy. Vong Tien Coc is likened to a fairyland in Jiangxi with its poetic beauty all year round, especially in Spring and Autumn with extremely cool weather.
Meanwhile, Vu Nguyen evokes nostalgia with ancient villages with small bridges spanning them, white lime walls, black bricks covered with green moss. Spring is coming, terraced mustard fields dye the whole valley yellow.
The spring scenery constantly changing between white, pink, and yellow flowers has created a rare "color symphony", making Ms. Dieu's journey more special than any previous trip.
However, the trip also left some regrets for the Vietnamese female tourist when cherry blossoms in Binh Ba had withered early, and peach blossoms in Vong Tien Coc had not yet bloomed. Besides, some mountain climbing routes that Ms. Dieu planned were interrupted due to unusual weather conditions.
But, that is also the fun of traveling. I need to accept the uncertainty of nature to enjoy the trip in the most comfortable way," Ms. Dieu confided.

Memorable moments along the way
Not only beautiful scenery, the trip is also a journey to explore diverse and impressive local cuisine. Ms. Dieu especially loves light vegetables, specialty sweet soup, rotten tofu and especially steamed red carp in Vu Nguyen. Along the way, fresh and delicious fruits such as seedless grapes or white strawberries are sold at the garden at surprisingly cheap prices.
Another highlight in this trip of the Vietnamese female tourist is the support of technology throughout the journey. Although she has set foot in China 4 times, Ms. Dieu revealed that this is the trip that she is most satisfied with, not only because of the scenery but also thanks to the powerful "assistant" of technology.
From planning with AI, booking good hotels to using applications like Alipay and WeChat for payment and travel, everything is optimized. The female tourist was impressed when many locals used virtual assistants in daily life, such as drivers calling AI to ask for directions or controlling cars.
Ms. Dieu recounted: "This trip was particularly impressive to me because of the way AI penetrated into the lives of Chinese people, like the way driver Cuu Ca throughout the journey kept calling "virtual assistants" to ask for directions, order turn on and off car lights or chat to relieve sleepiness.
However, the trip was not entirely smooth. The crowded situation at famous places such as Hoang Linh or some "industrialized" tourist areas sometimes reduces the initial excitement of tourists' experiences. Therefore, Ms. Dieu had to proactively go to small, deserted alleys to find the original beauty of famous scenic spots.
The total cost for the journey is about 46 million VND (excluding air tickets), equivalent to 2 - 2.5 million VND/person/day for a group of 3 people, including private cars, high-speed trains and high-quality hotels. According to Ms. Dieu, the secret to a complete trip lies in careful preparation, maintaining a flexible mindset in front of nature and maximizing technology. The combination of spectacular scenery, rich cuisine and modern amenities has created a memorable journey, where each experience contributes to creating a complete tourism picture.
