On September 12, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that the Prime Minister had signed and issued Decision No. 4599/QD-TTg on the classification of Special National Monuments (18, 2025).
The list includes historical sites of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement (1930-1931) in Nghe An - a major event, considered a "general exercise" to prepare for the victory of the August 1945 Revolution.
In the above-mentioned relic system of revolutionary khanxes, Nghe An - Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Museum, located at 7 and 10 Dao Tan Street (Thanh Vinh Ward), is currently a place to preserve and display the entire process of the 1930-1931 revolutionary khanxes.

With a campus of over 15,000m2, in addition to the main exhibition space, the museum also has the "Memory of the Patriotic and Revolutionary Soldiers Detained at Vinh Mausoleum" and "Memory of the Soviet Martyrs of Nghe Tinh". This is a space for people and tourists to commemorate and express gratitude to those who died for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
After nearly 60 years of construction and development since its establishment (1960) and opening to visitors (1963), the museum has become a red address for traditional education, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors each year. Currently, there are more than 3,500 artifacts, nearly 6,000 records and portraits of revolutionary soldiers imprisoned during the period 1930-1925.

The museum has also inventoried 250 relics, prepared ranking documents for nearly 50 national relics and organized many additional exhibitions in localities, contributing to spreading historical values.
Invaluable artifacts such as the pair of Ha Huy Tap, the tower of Comrade Nguyen Huu Trieu, the cotton shirt of Comrade Nguyen Thi Nghia or simple items such as trays, pots, net, betel - used by the people to hide and print documents - are still preserved intact.

All contribute to recreating the heroic revolutionary spirit and indomitable spirit of Nghe Tinh people during the depression of 1930-1931 .
In recent years, museums have focused on innovating their methods of operation, allowing the organization of services according to regulations and applying digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in displaying, interacting and introducing artifacts. These improvements enhance the experience of tourists, helping history get closer to the public, especially the younger generation.

Sharing about the orientation to promote the value of the relic, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - emphasized: "The recognition of Nghe Tinh Shopping Movement Historical Site as a National Monument is a great source of pride for Nghe An people. In the coming time, the cultural sector will focus on preserving and maintaining the original state of the relics, while promoting their value with the work of educating the younger generation about patriotic traditions and effectively exploiting the potential of cultural and historical tourism. We hope that Nghe An - Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Museum will be a regular destination in the experiential and learning journeys of students, as well as an attractive address for domestic and foreign tourists.

According to the Director of the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, being ranked as a special national monument not only affirms the great historical value of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement, but also opens a new direction in the work of preserving and promoting heritage associated with tourism development, bringing revolutionary memories to strongly spread to today's and future generations.
