The moment of raising the flag on the sacred Fansipan peak, arousing national pride in the majestic sky and earth.

Amidst the vast clouds and mountains of the Northwest, at an altitude of over 3,143 meters - the place known as the "roof of Indochina", the flag-raising ceremony on Fansipan peak took place in a solemn and emotional atmosphere.

Not just a ritual, the flag-raising ceremony at Fansipan is also a symbol of patriotism and national pride. In that moment, tourists from all over, whether Vietnamese or international friends, all look at the national flag, joining in the sacred beat.

The majestic space of Hoang Lien Son mountains and forests further increases the emotional depth, when the flag flutters amidst the sea of clouds and the cold wind characteristic of the highlands.

The flag raising ceremony is organized methodically with the ritual team performing accurate and synchronous movements. Each step of movement, each operation of attaching the flag and pulling the string is thoroughly practiced to ensure absolute solemnity.

When the National Anthem was sung, many people could not hide their emotion, even tears welled up. That is the common feeling of Vietnamese children when standing on the highest peak of the Fatherland, witnessing the sacred flag flying in the sky. Many tourists wore red and yellow star flag shirts or brought national flags to express their pride and emotion.

Nguyen Thanh Mai (Dong Nai) shared: "As a Vietnamese child, for the first time watching the flag-raising ceremony on Fansipan peak, I am truly moved.

The moment the red flag with a yellow star fluttered in the sky made me feel very indescribable, both proud, sacred, and unbelievable. I felt like I was standing in a dream.

Fansipan flagpole - a structure built at an altitude of over 3,100 meters, right below the Fansipan marker - also carries a profound symbolic meaning.

The structure is about 25 meters high, designed to be solid to withstand the harsh weather conditions of high mountains, where strong winds and temperatures can drop very low.

Standing on the top of Fansipan, besides witnessing the solemn flag-raising ceremony and taking souvenir photos at marker 3. 143m, visitors also have the opportunity to take a panoramic view of the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountains and forests, where clouds and the vast forest blend to create a majestic natural picture.

Currently, tourists can conquer Fansipan peak in two ways: by cable car from Sa Pa town or trekking along forest roads.

The cable car line helps shorten travel time to only about 15-20 minutes, suitable for many subjects.

The flag-raising ceremony usually takes place from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on weekdays, depending on the organization schedule of the tourist area.

On special occasions, the tourist area organizes flag-raising twice in the same morning.

To not miss this sacred moment, tourists should proactively arrange time to reach the peak early, follow the specific schedule, compare information with staff at the cable car ticket counter and prepare appropriate clothing for cold, windy weather.

And when the red flag with a yellow star flutters on the top of Fansipan, everyone will feel more clearly than ever the pride of being a part of Vietnam.
