Located in the flower garden, next to the 20.9 square in Hai Duong, the banyan tree not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its special role in community life.
The banyan tree has a large branch system spreading out to the four sides, creating the feeling of having dozens of separate secondary roots growing from a common trunk. According to local observation, the banyan tree has up to 60 large and small secondary roots, growing intertwined around the base, creating a unique and rare shape.
The green, even canopy, with a diameter of nearly 40 meters - enough to cover an entire corner of the flower garden, becomes an ideal stop every day.

Ms. Tran Thi Ly (62 years old), a resident living near the square area, said: "I have been exercising under this tree for nearly ten years. The summer is cool, the winter is still sunny through the leaves, very pleasant. Every morning there are people walking here, some sitting coolly, and as crowded as a small market."
Not only loved by the elderly, the banyan tree is also a familiar gathering place for children. Nguyen Gia Bao (5th grade student) shared: "My children and friends often play football here and hide and seek. The banyan tree is very big, there are places where we can climb up to play.

According to people in Phu Thai town, the banyan tree was previously located in the old Kim Thanh Hospital. In 2014, when the hospital moved to another location, the banyan tree was still kept in its original location, becoming an indispensable part of the town's flower garden space.
Many people consider this a "silent witness", attached to many generations of Phu Thai people. With its special shape, wide shade and value in the community, the banyan tree not only has ecological value but is also a unique cultural symbol.
Mr. Tran Van Tuan - a retired local cadre, expressed: "This banyan tree needs to be preserved for a long time. Not only a part of the people's memories, but also a green highlight in the heart of the growing urban area".
In the midst of modern life, the banyan tree still quietly shines, embracing the memories and daily habits of the people of Phu Thai (Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province). Perhaps it is the simplicity and closeness that makes this strange banyan tree especially attractive.
