According to Hai Duong Provincial Police, in the first quarter of 2025 and especially since the implementation of the new organizational apparatus, the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police have focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of all aspects of traffic safety work and party building and People's Public Security force building, achieving many outstanding results.
Social order and safety are guaranteed, crimes related to social order continue to decrease (in the quarter, there were 110 cases, down 20 cases = 15% compared to the first quarter of 2024); some types of crimes have decreased significantly such as robbery, theft, gambling and organizing gambling... The results of the investigation into cases related to social order have reached a high rate. The effectiveness of state management of security and order is enhanced.
Assessing 1 month of implementation according to the new organizational model (from March 1-31), Hai Duong Provincial Police has quickly stabilized and perfected the organizational model of the apparatus and Party organization of the Departments and Commune-level Police; completed the inventory, reception, handover of facilities, records, documents, weapons, support tools, equipment and means... from the District Police to Department-level units to continue to manage and use effectively, avoiding waste; strengthen all aspects of work to ensure security and order in the area.
Along with officially coming into operation according to the 2-level police organization model, the reception and implementation of 4 new functions and tasks from departments and branches have been directed by the Provincial Police to be implemented promptly, operating smoothly and effectively, without interruption or stagnation, improving the quality of public service, and ensuring better than before.
The Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police also focus on political and ideological work, creating high unity in awareness and determination in the entire force; officers and soldiers with strong political will, peace of mind in their work, and equal support and strictly comply with the policy of innovation and reorganization of the apparatus according to the new model.
In general, since the arrangement and streamlining (from January 1 to present), the apparatus of Hai Duong Provincial Police has operated effectively and smoothly, in accordance with the spirit of a strong province, comprehensive communes, and adherence to the grassroots; the security and order situation has been maintained stably.
