This is the latest tour combined with three-wall sailboats - a unique sailboat in Quang Ninh - preparing to debut to tourists.
The product is expected to contribute to enriching tourism experiences in Ha Long Bay, while promoting the unique marine culture of the locality.
According to the plan, at 5 am every day, 2-story buses will pick up passengers at some points in Bai Chay ward including: Vietnam Restaurant (Hung Thang area), Restaurant 368 at 268 Nga 5 Ha Long street and Sun World Ha Long Park. After that, tourists will be taken to Hon Gai waterway passenger wharf, Hong Gai ward to board a sailboat.
The "Dawn on a three-walled boat in Ha Long Bay" journey takes place from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM. During this time, visitors can watch the sunrise on Ha Long Bay, enjoy the fresh air of the early morning and capture beautiful moments in the world's natural wonder space.
After landing, the 2-story bus continued to take tourists to visit some famous landmarks in the old Ha Long city from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM such as: Quang Ninh Museum, Hon Gai Beach, Planning Palace, Quang Ninh Provincial Exhibition and Fair, Ha Long Flower Park and Bai Chay Bridge.
At the end of the journey, the bus takes tourists back to the starting pick-up point, completing the experience of watching the sunrise in Ha Long Bay.
According to the organizing unit, the tour ticket price is 400,000 VND/adult; 300,000 VND/child from 1m to 1.3m tall; free for children under 1m tall.
Previously, on the morning of June 29, 2026, on the shore of Ha Long Bay, the Joint Venture of Quang Ninh Waterway Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Landscape Admission Joint Stock Company organized the opening ceremony of the three-wall sailing experience product on Ha Long Bay.
The event marks the birth of a new tourism product, and also the return of the image of brown sails that were closely associated with the lives of fishermen in the coastal area of Quang Ninh for many generations.
Initially, 6 three-wall sailing boats will be put into service for tourists. These boats are built according to traditional designs at the workshop of sailing artisan Le Duc Chan in Lien Hoa ward, Quang Ninh province.
The sightseeing route currently runs along the coast of Ha Long Bay, from the Bai Tho bridge area, Hong Gai ward to the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum - Library area, Ha Long ward. The starting point is located at the transport wharf area of Quang Ninh Waterway Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company, near Ha Long 1 market.
Each experience trip lasts about an hour, with the first trip departing at 8 am and the last trip departing at 5 pm daily.
According to the operating unit, from July 1 to now, there have been more than 500 domestic and foreign tourists experiencing Ha Long Bay on three-wall sailboats. This is considered a positive signal for a new tourism product, especially in the context that the weather in Quang Ninh area has experienced many periods of rain and the impact of storms recently.
It is expected that from October to April next year, when entering the peak season of welcoming international cruise ships, the number of tourists using three-deck sailboats will increase sharply. According to exploitation units, tourism types associated with indigenous cultural experiences and natural landscapes such as three-deck sailboats are receiving great attention from international tourists, especially cruise ship tourists.
