Since February 2025, the People's Committee of Cau Giay District (old) has approved the construction design to be implemented after the basic design of the Cau Giay Park Renovation and Repair Project with a total investment of more than 66 billion VND. With the above cost, Cau Giay Park has upgraded its infrastructure and added many public utilities.
The items in the Renovation project include: Renovation of the lake system, reinstalling a walking path, planting more trees, adding rest houses, repairing artificial grass and children's playground, etc. The Cau Giay Park Renovation and Upgrade Project with an area of 95,282m2, a lake area of 14,808m2 and a public house and toilet area of 899m2.
After the renovation, the infrastructure and landscape of Cau Giay Park have undergone many changes. The park space has become more spacious, convenient for people to exercise, walk or participate in extracurricular activities.
Ms. Le Chi (65 years old, Dich Vong ward) shared: "I have been waiting for the day the park will open for a long time to get exercise. I see more practice tools, new tools are of better quality than before, so when I practice, I feel more secure.
In addition, the playground is also a destination that attracts young people, students, and pupils when returning to Cau Giay Park. Many toys such as: visceral towers, slides, swings, waterlogs... are newly designed with many colors, no sharp objects appear, ensuring safety for children when participating in fun.
Nha Linh (14 years old) said she was very surprised by the new look of the park: "I find the park landscape more beautiful than before. Before, I thought the playground was monotonous. However, after the editing, this area has many game items with more eye-catching colors.
Artificial grass carpets are no longer peeling. The carpets are paved thicker and softer, avoiding the phenomenon of many people getting injured when walking or falling on the grass.
Minh Anh (23 years old) shared: The park is now more spacious, the artificial turf is greener, cleaner and more beautiful than before. With such an increasingly positive and interesting appearance, I took my domestic cats here for a walk and fun for a relaxation.
In addition, the park has also installed a number of other items such as: Roads, pedestrian bridges; sidewalk items, brick floors, stone benches, electrical systems and lighting are basically completed. In particular, the pedestrian bridge area is in the waiting period for the artificial water system.
People hope that Cau Giay Park will soon complete the renovation work, creating a space for people to play and live. The park not only serves the needs of entertainment and recreation but also plays the role of green lung of the city, contributing to improving the living environment.
