HCMC - Daesung (BIGBANG) was excited because he could buy many quality items at Ben Thanh market, surprised because almost all the merchants knew Korean.

Recently, Daesung (BIGBANG) suddenly posted a video visiting Ho Chi Minh City during his fan tour to Vietnam in early July. Although time was quite tight, the male singer still had time to explore Ben Thanh market - one of the most famous places in Saigon.

The male singer demonstrated his proficient shopping experience when affirming, "If the store owners here invite you to buy, please bid according to your ability." This statement made fans extremely excited.

Daesung was surprised that almost all the shop owners here could communicate in basic Korean, and even had good and correct pronunciation. During his time walking around the market, he was enthusiastically invited by many sellers to buy things in Korean.

Daesung decided to visit the fruit store first because he loves tropical fruits. The male singer revealed that he can eat durian, but he also understands that those who cannot eat durian will find the smell of durian very rotten and unpleasant. In the end, he bought durian, jackfruit and mangosteen because he couldn't decide which fruit he liked better.

Daesung was attracted by a souvenir stall selling many unique cups and mugs. The male singer always praised him for seeing so many strange things at cheap prices. He bought 10 wine glasses printed with traditional Vietnamese patterns for 16,000 won (about 300,000 VND) and was happy to buy something he liked.

The male singer shared that he wanted to buy some comfortable pants to wear at home. However, instead of choosing men's pants, he picked up women's pajama pants with colorful patterns and affirmed that they were the material he wanted. Finally, he chose 4 cool, comfortable pants to give to his mother.

After walking around Ben Thanh market, Daesung humorously said it was like he was going shopping for the first time after being discharged from the army. The male singer shared that he felt very excited because it had been a long time since he had time to go to the market to shop.

He affirmed that Ben Thanh market is an interesting place, not too large but will be full of stalls from fruits, souvenirs, clothes... for tourists. In particular, Koreans can shop with peace of mind because the shop owners all speak Korean and basic English.

Daesung was born in 1989 and debuted with BIGBANG in 2006. The male K-pop idol has a huge fan base thanks to his inspiring voice and humorous, positive personality.

Fan tour "Daesung fan day tour: D's road" is one of the big steps marking Daesung's solo career after leaving YG Entertainment. After the concert on the evening of July 6 in Ho Chi Minh City, Daesung thanked the fans for their warm affection and affirmed that he would return to Vietnam one day in the near future.
