On the evening of August 29, the opening ceremony of the Dak Lak Culture, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 took place at the Dak Lak Provincial Cultural - Tourism Center.
This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
At the same time, this is also an event to celebrate the 45th anniversary of World Tourism Day (September 27, 1980' September 27, 2025).

Dak Lak Culture, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 takes place with many outstanding activities such as: Gong cultural performance; Traditional art program; Street music serving the people and tourists; Special art program to celebrate major national holidays.
Participating in the event are more than 200 booths displaying and promoting products of travel agencies, hotels, tourist areas, etc.
In particular, there are nearly 100 booths of departments, branches, tourism associations, localities in the province and households introducing traditional cuisine, handicrafts and regional specialties, creating a diverse and imbued with identity space.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Hong Tien, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, said that 2025 will mark an important turning point when the Dak Lak and Phu Yen Tourism Associations officially merge.
The event opens up a new direction of cooperation between the blue sea of Phu Yen and the Dak Lak region. This not only enriches tourism products but also creates a unique experience journey "from sea to forest".
From there, visitors have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty, culture and cuisine of two lands rich in identity.


Dak Lak Culture, Tourism and Culinary Week 2025 is an opportunity for domestic and foreign tourists to fully experience the beauty of the traditional Central Highlands region with rich identity.
The event is considered a highlight in the province's series of cultural and tourism activities. Through that, the image of a friendly, hospitable and aspirational Dak Lak is widely spread.
The week also creates opportunities for connection and cooperation between localities and businesses, contributing to promoting trade, services and promoting destinations.
This is an important driving force for Dak Lak to aim for an economic growth target of 8% or more in 2025, towards a double-digit growth rate in the coming years.
