World's top 1 DJ explores Son Doong, shows off a million-view video

Quang Binh - DJ Martin Garrix shared on his personal page a video about the Son Doong exploration that he made a year ago, attracting millions of viewers.

Martin Garrix (29 years old) is a famous Dutch DJ and music producer. He is currently holding the top 1 position on the Top 100 DJs Magazine 2024 rankings.

On February 13, Martin Garrix shared on his social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram a short video about his journey to explore Son Doong - the world's largest natural cave located in Quang Binh province, Vietnam.

The world's top 1 DJ wrote: "A year ago, we made this exploration in the cave world in Vietnam. One of the most special trips ever".

The video attracted more than a million views a few days after being posted. In addition, hundreds of comments from audiences around the world were also updated. Most expressed their surprise and admiration for the beauty of Son Doong cave.

In 2024, after completing a 4-day, 3-night exploration in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang cave complex, Martin Garrix also shared: "The four best days. This is a trip of a lifetime".

In early 2024, the Dutch DJ not only explored Quang Binh Cave but also traveled to Hanoi, experienced the capital's specialties and drank coffee on the train street with friends.

This is not the first time Martin Garrix has come to Vietnam. In 2016, he performed at a music festival held in Hanoi. In 2018, he visited Ho Chi Minh City at the F1 experience event.

2024 also marks the 10-year journey of welcoming tourists to Son Doong. During those 10 years, 7,552 people conquered the world's largest natural cave, of which about 20 people returned to explore it 2-3 times. Total revenue from Son Doong exploration tours is more than 528 billion VND.

Each year the tour is limited to 1,000 guests, so many people have to "row up" to wait for many months or even a whole year to get a ticket. The number of tourists to Son Doong Cave is distributed around the world. The top 5 countries with the most visitors to Son Doong Cave are Vietnam, the US, Australia, the UK and Canada.

In 2019, Son Doong Cave became a network phenomenon when it appeared in the MV " alone, Pt. II by Alan Walker, a Norwegian-born British producer and DJ, is best known for his EDM single "Faded".

After 5 years of release, the MV has reached more than 420 million views.
