Lam Dong - Just one QR code scan by phone, information about tourist destinations and images will be displayed for tourists to access information quickly.

On June 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province said that it is coordinating with the Phu Quy Special Zone People's Committee to deploy a QR code integrated information sign system at tourist attractions on the island. According to the plan, the digitization of all key tourist destinations will be completed in June 2026.

This is one of the solutions to apply technology to promote and introduce destinations, and at the same time contribute to the implementation of the goal of digital transformation in the province's tourism sector.

According to Ms. Nguyen Lan Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, the introduction of QR codes into exploitation at tourist attractions helps increase information access for tourists, while creating a foundation for building a smart tourism ecosystem.

When visiting famous landmarks such as Ban Tranh Princess Temple, Linh Son Pagoda - Cao Cat Mountain, Sai Nai Master's Tomb, Bai Nho - Ganh Hang or Phu Quy Flagpole, visitors only need to use a smartphone to scan the QR code.

When scanning the code, all information and images of the location will be displayed through the link to the Lam Dong tourism website. The content introducing attractions, images and video clips will also be updated regularly in many languages.

According to Mr. Le Hong Loi - Chairman of Phu Quy Special Economic Zone People's Committee, the QR code application makes information provision convenient, cost-effective and reduces dependence on traditional printed documents. In the coming time, the locality will continue to expand digitization for historical and cultural relics and scenic spots in the area.
