Bustling tourists during the holidays
During the National Day holiday of September 2nd, the Bac Lieu Playboy's house, Bac Lieu ward, Ca Mau province is bustling with people coming in and out.
On the morning of September 1st, many delegations from provinces and cities took turns visiting the 100-year-old ancient house. According to representatives of the building management, from the first day of the holiday to now, this place welcomes more than 1,000 visitors every day.

Stepping through the doors of the ancient house, visitors not only visit a famous architectural work but also hear stories about the life and anecdotes surrounding Mr. Tran Trinh Huy, who is known by many generations as Cong Tu Bac Lieu or Hac Cong Tu.
The story that delights many tourists is the challenge between Tran Trinh Huy and Le Cong Phuoc, also known as Bach Cong Tu in My Tho.
According to a legend passed down, the two once challenged each other to use burning foil to cook 1kg of green bean sweet soup. Whoever boils it first will win.

The challenge is said to take place right at the Bac Lieu Prince's house. After about an hour of burning money, Bach Cong Tu's tea pot boiled first and he won. According to circulating stories, the money the two princes burned at that time could buy thousands of grains of rice.
Visiting the house, many tourists are excited to take photos inside the building, next to the car introduced as having been associated with Tran Trinh Huy or the model of the rebuilt airplane.

Ms. Nguyen Kim Hong, a tourist from Can Tho, said: "We have been here 1-2 times and have many memories. Hearing about Bac Lieu's young master with famous anecdotes, I feel very excited".
Many tourists, after hearing stories about the famous young master, also come to the Bac Lieu Young Master model to take photos, hoping to get lucky and "get rich" like the characters in the legends passed down.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tam, a tourist from Tay Ninh, shared: "No matter what anyone says, I think this Young Master has many good things. In the old days, difficulties piled up, but he still played extravagantly, was so rich, and now everyone knows that it is too wonderful".
The imprint of a house over a hundred years old
The Bac Lieu Young Master's house was built by Mr. Tran Trinh Trach, commonly known as Hoi Dong Trach, father of Tran Trinh Huy, from 1917 to 1919.
The project was designed by a French architect, including 2 floors and a terrace. The house has an area of about 400m2, with 36 windows and 9 large doors. Many building materials were brought from France.

The house has a French architectural style, and also has an intersection between Eastern and Western architecture, once considered one of the most imposing buildings in the six provinces of Cochinchina.
According to documents introduced at the site, Mr. Tran Trinh Trach has 7 children, including 4 daughters and 3 sons. Tran Trinh Huy, commonly known as Ba Huy, born in 1900, died in 1973, is the third son.

Stories about Tran Trinh Huy's life, from studying abroad, driving hobbies, buying airplanes to extravagant games, are still told by many people today.
Although not all anecdotes can be verified for authenticity, the stories about Cong Tu Bac Lieu have become a part of Southern folk culture, contributing to creating a unique attraction for this destination.
