A trip to preserve childhood
Making trips across Vietnam is the desire of many travel enthusiasts. However, not everyone dares to sacrifice energy, time, money... to fulfill that wish, especially when married.
Contrary to what many people think, Ms. Nguyen Minh Hue (30 years old, doing business in Quang Ninh) is willing to go on a trip with her small family for more than 18 days, through 20 different provinces and cities with just the thought: " Trips to new lands are the youth of parents, and also the childhood of their children."
Ms. Hue shared that one of the biggest reasons why she and her husband decided to travel across Vietnam was so that their children could have many experiences, while preserving a truly "pure" childhood.
She believes that trips to new lands, meeting new people, and trying unique dishes will help her children become more confident, bold, and mature.
Ms. Hue affirmed that both babies can voluntarily eat and sleep like adults so they do not get tired. The children are extremely excited about long family trips.
Besides, this trip is also to fulfill Hue and her husband's passion for travel in their youth. Both she and her husband think that Vietnam has many beautiful landscapes, delicious food, and everywhere is worth exploring without having to travel abroad: "Setting foot in all regions is my dream." .
Travel 4,200 km without a schedule
According to Ms. Hue's share, she, her husband and two children started from Quang Ninh, went through many different locations such as Hanoi, Cua Lo, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Da Lat... and finally stopped at Vung Ship. The total time for the trip is 18 days, passing through 20 provinces and cities with a total distance of about 4,200km.
"Each place has its own beauty, like Da Lat has a cool climate and lots of delicious food, Quy Nhon and Nha Trang have many beautiful sea routes" - Ms. Hue excitedly said.
At each location, Ms. Hue's family had interesting experiences such as releasing lanterns (Hoi An), visiting the imperial city of Hue (Hue), enjoying famous specialties such as Lien sweet soup (Da Nang), Bun Ram (Quy Nhon), Nem chua Hanh Kinh (Thanh Hoa)...
The family's trip through Vietnam did not have a pre-scheduled schedule, most of them followed "inspiration" so they were quite comfortable in terms of time and location: "My family whenever we see beautiful scenery or when we are tired, we stop and rest. feel very happy".
Because they travel on their own by car and do not plan in advance, most of Hue's family will book a room and research the attractions there. She feels lucky because she did not encounter any problems and affirms that applications that help warn when participating in traffic or hotel booking applications are an indispensable part to make the trip smoother.
Besides, Ms. Hue believes that if the whole family wants to travel across Vietnam, parents should wait for their children to be about 5 years old or older. At this time, the babies are stronger, less likely to get sick and can live like adults, so parents will be much more leisurely and "breathable".
According to Ms. Hue, the total cost of the trip is about 50 million VND, including road fees, gasoline, hotel fees and meals for 4 people.
Before this trip, Ms. Hue's family also made a trip along the West, to Buon Ma Thuot and some Central Highlands provinces. At that time, Mang Den town was the place that left the most impression on her: "Going to Mang Den is the most memorable because the climate is cool like Da Lat, the atmosphere and scenery are very peaceful."
It was that successful trip across Vietnam that motivated Hue's family to continue making the trip this year and many other trips in the future.
“In the future, I will definitely experience traveling through Vietnam again. Vietnam is very beautiful, so every place leaves its mark and makes me want to visit again and again" - Ms. Hue affirmed.
