Halloween and Christmas are quite close together, so many stores on Hang Ma Street have sold both types of decorations. Shops next to each other with two contrasting colors between Halloween's orange - black and Christmas's white - red have created a rare seasonal scene.

This year's Halloween items still maintain the familiar style with the main orange - black tones. Many stores also import more costumes such as gloves, hairpins, and walnuts to serve customers' needs at makeup parties.
Many stores choose to only sell one item until the end of Halloween.
Ms. Thuy - the owner of a store specializing in selling decorations said: "Every year I wait until Halloween to import Christmas items, because customers still buy a lot of makeup. This year's prices are generally stable, the number of customers has not decreased compared to previous years".

Christmas items are also imported early by many stores, covering the frontage of Hang Ma Street with typical red, white, and blue colors. pine trees of all sizes, laurel wreaths, silver bells, reindeer, sweat socks and Santa Claus models are displayed in eye-catching speculation.

To Hai Anh (student of Hanoi National University) shared: "The atmosphere in Hang Ma at this time makes me feel excited, both the mystery of Halloween and the warmth of Christmas. Although it is only the end of October, the street is like a festival coat, making anyone passing by want to stop and take a photo.
In addition to stores that only sell Halloween items, many retailers have chosen to sell between the two items.
The stalls are filled with pumpkin lanterns, masks, pine trees, Santa Claus, decorative lights... creating a brilliant and somewhat " noticiful" scene in the last days of October.

Mr. Hoang Doan, owner of a store on Hang Ma Street, shared: "This year I have to display both Christmas and Halloween items. If you wait until Halloween to display Christmas items, customers will not be able to see the models, affecting revenue and regular customers. Although it has just started selling, the store has had quite a few customers coming to buy decorations early."
