For the first time in Hai Phong city, a large-scale book fair space was held with 16 exhibition booths, nearly 10,000 books of many genres such as social science books, literature and art books, children's books on geographical history, regular science and other genres, gathered from 15 major publishers and bookstores across the country.

Hai Phong Book Street in 2025 at Kim Dong Flower Garden with the theme "Reading - The road towards success" was held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong (13.5.1955 - 13.5.2025), the Flower Festival of the Red Phoenix Flower Festival in 2025, 50 years of the liberation of the South of the country (April 30, 1975 - 30.4.2025) and Vietnam Reading Culture and Culture Day (April 21).

The Hai Phong Book Road event attracted a large number of readers in the port city to attend, especially young people and children. The Hai Phong Book Fair will take place for 1 month, from April 19 to May 20. The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong.

In addition, there are a few special programs and activities that tourists and residents can participate in on weekends such as: on the morning of April 20, there will be a seminar program to exchange authors and works; the theme "Hai Phong City in the composition of the authors of the Port City", the speakers are Hai Phong writers, in the evening there will be street music programs.

On April 26, at 8:00 p.m., there will be a street music program.

On April 27 at 8am, a children's painting contest was held according to newspapers. On April 29 at 8:30 a.m., there will be a seminar, exchange and talk on the topic: 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification and stories through books by war Author, speaker Journalist Kim Toan, War Journalist.

On April 30, May 1, and March 3 at 7:30 p.m., there will be street music activities, performed by Hai Phong's music bands and clubs. On May 10 at 8:30 a.m., there will be a talk show with the theme "Reading in the digital age" by actor Nguyen Quoc Vuong.

On May 10, 15, and May 17, at 7:30 p.m., street music programs will take place. Finally, on May 18 at 8:00 p.m., there will be an art program by top singers, dancers... from the Children's Cultural Palace performing at the book route event and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025).
