Cuc Phuong National Park has just officially introduced the “Forest Bathing” tour in the middle of the forest after two months of research and development. This is an experience inspired by Japan, taking full advantage of the old forest and green ecological zone in the national park, creating a comfortable space for visitors' souls.
The experience begins at night, for visitors to practice meditation. The experience brings harmony with nature through the body's five senses including sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch.
Before starting the meditation process, visitors will be informed of the 3 no rules: no using phones, no making noise in the forest, and no thinking about life's pressures. Each person gradually sinks into the silence of the surrounding jungle, to gradually focus on the spiritual world deep inside each person.
First, the meditator is instructed in the preparatory posture and the basics for beginners such as how to breathe, how to close the eyes, how to concentrate. Sit up straight, try to relax, inhale through the nose and exhale gently, deep enough to purify and exchange energy with nature. Each breath will help the meditator relax and release the mind, letting go of worries and pressures of life.
The “forest bathing” experience usually lasts about 45 minutes, and visitors will be guided on how to open their senses to feel nature.
Duong Thi Ha Vi (22 years old, Hanoi) is one of the first tourists to experience forest bathing in Cuc Phuong.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to listen to the sound of so much peace appearing at the same time. The moment I meditate, slow down, let go of all the work and pressures of life, I have the opportunity to listen to my heart, to look back on the long journey I’ve just gone through. I feel more peaceful and lighter than ever,” you said.
Duong Hanh (Hanoi) expressed: "I feel like I am immersed in nature, breathing fresh air and discovering new and interesting things on this energy-recharging trip."
Currently, the forest bathing tour project is in the process of finalizing the content, and is expected to officially sell tickets in the near future.
