The statue has an extremely impressive size with a height of 7 meters and a weight of up to 10 tons. To create this imposing work, the author uses artificial stone material on a base of iron and cement, going through more than 3 months of tireless construction.

With the image of an iron horse overcoming mountains and kicking clouds, the work is not only a sculptural masterpiece but also a symbol of the resilient will of the Vietnamese people. This is a symbol of the desire to conquer new heights and the strong national pride.

The highlight of the statue lies in the harmonious combination of strength and gracefulness. Details such as the saddles and soft curved tail of the horse, exuding the vividness of flying in the wind. In particular, the image of St. Giong majestically on the horse's back, holding a bamboo stick in his hand, has recreated the heroic spirit of the saint that Vietnamese people call the Four Immortals in folk beliefs.

Sharing about the process of making the statue, sculptor Thien Tam said: "The most difficult thing is to spiritualize the portrait. Whether a work has soul or not lies in the face and especially the eyes. I have spent a lot of time polishing the face of Saint Giong to achieve the most realistic aesthetic effect.

Ms. Huong Hoang, representative of Trung Vuong Garden Experiential Education Area, shared that the inspiration from the legend of Saint Giong for the horse mascot in the year of Binh Ngo 2026 stemmed from deep cultural love and educational philosophy. In the Vietnamese mind, Saint Giong is a beautiful symbol of a national hero - from a child rising up, reaching out to become a majestic and heroic soldier.

Carrying the message "Saint Giong horse galloping to open spring, arousing Vietnamese aspirations", the Tet mascot Binh Ngo 2206 in Quang Tri is an ideal sightseeing and check-in spot for tourists during the traditional Tet holiday.
