In the last days of October, at Bich Ha port (Tan Hoa ward, Phu Tho province), the surface of Hoa Binh lake is sky-green, vast like a giant mirror reflecting the sky and mountains.
According to Lao Dong, all fishing and aquaculture activities are still taking place normally.
At Cuong Thinh Company's cage fish farm - this is the largest fish farming facility in Hoa Binh lake, Mr. Pham Van Thinh - the owner of the fish farm said: "Currently, the water level in the lake has returned to normal, so fish farming by the facility or people on the lake is still guaranteed.
Previously, when Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant released the bottom, due to heavy rain, the water level was slightly higher, but it did not affect the fish herd".

In addition to aquaculture activities on the lake, activities such as sightseeing, resorts, and tourism are taking place bustlingly.
Dozens of tourist boats are anchored to serve tourists coming here to explore the charming beauty of "Northwest Ha Long Bay".
Mr. Tran Khac My (64 years old), a tourist boat owner, said: "The Bich Ha and Ba Cap ports have nearly a dozen passenger boats anchored, all activities are still taking place normally but the most crowded are on weekends.
Currently, boat owners are actively cleaning and decorating to prepare for the year-end experience tourism season.
Mr. Bui Minh Quan (26 years old, a tourist from Thanh Hoa), commented: "The lake scene appears like a painting of the sea. The clear water surface, high sky, and cool air make us truly immerse ourselves in nature.

Ms. Ban Kim Quy - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Phong commune (a commune in the Hoa Binh lake area) said that the Hoa Binh Hydropower Reservoir in the fall of October not only has a majestic and peaceful beauty, but is also a place where livelihoods and cultural identity converge. This place promises to be a typical destination for river tourism in Phu Tho province as well as the Northwest region.
According to an update from Vietnam Electricity Group, as of 11pm on October 23, the upstream water level of Hoa Binh Hydropower Reservoir was at 115.74m. The water flow to the lake is 2,112 m3/s, the total discharge is 976 m3/s.
Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment issued a telegram on closing the bottom spillway of Hoa Binh Hydropower Reservoir at 11:00 on October 22.
