Lao Dong's records in the Hoa Binh lake area (belonging to Da Bac commune) these days show that the weather is lightly sunny, with little rain, making the water surface rarely seen as clear blue.
From the high points along the lake, the entire space opens up with overlapping limestone mountain ranges, small islands undulating in the blue water.
Many tourists choose to take boats to visit the lake, take photos, kayak or camp by the lake. Fresh, quiet air brings a feeling of relaxation after stressful working days.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (Hanoi tourist) shared: "The first time I came to Hoa Binh Lake in the right blue water season, I was really surprised by the beautiful scenery no less than famous tourist destinations. The space is very peaceful, suitable for short-term resorts.

And Mr. Nguyen Van Giang (a tourist from Ninh Binh) said that the clear blue water, quiet space and pleasant climate make the trip relaxing, suitable for resort activities and natural experiences.
Along with the increase in the number of visitors, community-based tourist destinations along the lake are starting to become bustling again. Many homestays and stilt houses have welcomed guests on weekends, especially young and family groups.

Mr. Luu Anh Tu (owner of Xoan retreat homestay) said: "From the beginning of March to now, the number of guests has increased significantly. Weekends are usually fully booked, mainly guests from Hanoi and neighboring provinces coming to relax, rowing, and sightseeing.
According to Mr. Tu, the dry season is the most beautiful time of year for the lake when the water is clear and the weather is favorable for outdoor activities.

Mr. Pham Tuan Trung - Director of Tay Bac Tourism Company said that the Hoa Binh Hydropower Lake area is emerging as a landscape highlight of the Northwest region.
According to Mr. Trung, when the weather is dry, the lake surface is calm, the water is clear blue, in the early morning there is often faint fog, and in the late afternoon, the sunset light covers the water surface, creating a very impressive scene.
Tourists coming at this time are often surprised by the pristine, peaceful and very unique beauty of the lake," Mr. Trung shared.

Ms. Ban Kim Quy - Chairwoman of Tien Phong Commune People's Committee said that the lake scenery changes clearly at different times of the day. Early morning is a thin layer of mist covering the water surface, noon is light sunshine shining on the rocky islands, and late afternoon the purple color of the sunset spreads throughout the lake, creating a poetic space, attracting tourists and photography lovers.
