Banff's scenery has an absolute harmonious combination of three elements: perishable snow-covered sharp rocky mountain peaks, lush green primeval pine forests and especially the characteristic turquoise lake system.
This unique green color is formed by ice powder from melting glaciers suspended in water, reflecting sunlight, creating a surreal color strip.
