Having the opportunity to go to Nga Bay this day, Ms. Dang Thi Ly (Can Tho City) recounted that before, she and her mother went back and forth to make a living by selling fruit on Nga Bay River. When they finish their business, they often just entertain and relax with a boat race in the spirit of "homegrown trees and gardens", that memory still lingers in her until today.
"Coming to Nga Bay, I quickly remember that beautiful memory, both folk and traditional. Seeing you rowing a boat, I miss the old me. Now I am very happy that Nga Bay City is developing tourism, hoping Nga Bay will go further, in accordance with the orientation and vision of the local government" - Ms. Ly said.

And Mr. Thanh Luan (Hau Giang) expressed that the atmosphere of the seven days celebrated the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), as well as the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Town - now Nga Bay City (2005 - 2025). As a son of Nga Bay, he hopes that the locality will develop even more and well known.

Nga Bay is not only a convergence of seven rivers but also a place where boats and canoes have become an inseparable part of the cultural life and daily activities of the people. Previously, boats were filled with fruits and traded on the river, creating a cultural space that is both traditional and bustling, bearing the mark of the Mekong Delta. These boats and canoes have contributed to creating a very unique and charming Nga Bay, a meeting place for seven charming rivers.
