After a long day of traveling all over the roads of his hometown, photographer Nguyen Trong Cung (Thai Binh) has fully recorded the brilliant beauty of the rice flower season. Many places with blooming rice flowers in Thai Binh are famous tourist destinations, attracting a large number of tourists to visit.

A corner of bright red rice flower, adding a quiet, ancient decoration to Keo Pagoda - one of the ancient pagodas in Vietnam with a 400-year-old architecture that has been preserved almost intact.
The entire pagoda is made of ironwood with many unique masterpieces, considered an art museum of the early 17th century, becoming a must-see destination when traveling to Thai Binh.

Thai Binh is one of the lands with many historical and cultural relics. In addition to the famous Keo Pagoda, Mr. Trong Cung recorded the moment when many communal houses and pagodas here were brilliant with the color of rice flowers. Notable ancient rice trees blooming eye-catchingly at Ngai communal house, or double-flowered rice trees at Quan communal house (Kien Xuong district), bring a close picture of rural life, filled with the vitality of the rice flower season.

In addition, the place of rice flowers that is sought after by many women in Thai Binh, according to Mr. Cung, is the go goy rice tree located near the gate of Thai Thinh Primary and Secondary School (Thai Thinh commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh). This check-in spot with the rice flower is famous not only for its bright red blooming but also for its unique, curved tree posture, lying across a long section.

"The rice flower season in Thai Binh is impressive because the color of flowers blooms right next to the roofs of communal houses, pagodas, or the vast green fields that are imbued with the Northern countryside, bringing a nostalgic and close feeling," said Mr. Cung.
The rice flower season in the North usually falls around March and April every year. The most noticeable of which is about two to three weeks and then quickly falls.
Currently, some rice flower locations in Thai Binh have fading away, and the trees are starting to bear fruit. If you intend to go to Thai Binh to check-in during the rice flower season, there are many other places for visitors to refer to in the photo series of photographer Nguyen Trong Cung.
