Famous "check in" points during the rice flower season
Not only famous for its unique and ancient architecture, Trung Hanh Pagoda is also famous for possessing a system of ancient trees hundreds of years old, notably the row of rice trees in the pagoda grounds.
On both sides of the pagoda's three-door gate are two cotton trees over 100 m high, with a trunk diameter of about 2-3 meters, bearing the traces of time. After hundreds of years, the weather and storms, the two "old men" of rice are still standing tall, perched at the crossroads, reaching out hundreds of meters wide, giving shade to the pagoda yard.
Mr. Thach (75 years old, Tay Trung Hanh street, Dang Lam ward) said: "During storm No. 3 in 2024, many trees around here were broken and fell. However, the rice plants in Trung Hanh Pagoda are still not affected much, developing green well, protecting the people of Trung Hanh village".
In the rice flower season, 2 rice trees are like 2 giant nests, blooming thousands of bright red flowers in the sky. The red color of the rice flower further enhances the ancient and majestic beauty of the pagoda.
Ms. Nguyen Thien Nga (55 years old, British of Vietnamese origin) said - "Luckily, on the occasion of visiting my homeland in Vietnam, I was taken by friends to visit and admire Trung Hanh Pagoda. The beauty of the ancient pagoda stands out among the colors of the rice flowers that make me unable to take my eyes off, wanting to preserve many beautiful images and memories here".
According to the representative of the car parking team at Trung Hanh Pagoda, for about a week now, the pagoda has welcomed hundreds of visitors to visit and take photos with rice flowers every day. The rice flower season lasts until the end of April, but this year the rice flower season comes late, so it will last longer.
