The whole province of Ca Mau currently has a total of 111 recognized relics. This number shows the diversity and richness of tangible cultural heritages in the province.

Notably, Ca Mau has 3 special National Monuments, including: Ho Chi Minh Sea Road (Vam Lung Wharf - Ca Mau Province); Cai Chanh accommodation; Vinh Hung archaeological site.
These are relics of outstanding special value to the country, with outstanding historical and cultural significance, becoming the pride of Ca Mau and the whole country.
Located in Chau Thoi commune, Vinh Hung tower (belonging to Vinh Hung Archaeological Site) is the only remaining ancient tower of the Oc Eo culture in the Southwest, dating from the 4th century to the 13th century AD.
Here, there are 5 artifacts that have been recognized as National Treasures, reflecting the cultural value of Oc Eo, including: statue of Goddess Laksmi, statue of god Sada Shiva (or Sadashiva), statue of god Shiva, statue of goddess Uma and statue of god Nam ( bronze).
These treasures are unique sculptures made of sandstone and bronze, with high historical and artistic value, dating from the 4th to 13th centuries.

The historical site of Cai Chanh Station is located in Cay Cui Hamlet, Ninh Thanh Loi Commune. During the years of the resistance war against France and the US, this was the place where the leaders of the Fourth Party Committee and the Central Committee of the Southern Department, who later became leaders of our Party and State, including comrades: Le Duan, Le Duc Tho, Pham Hung, Ung Van Khiem, Vo Van Kiet, etc.

The historical site of the Ho Chi Minh Sea Road - Vam Lung Wharf (Ca Mau) is located in Phan Ngoc Hien commune, associated with the history of the Unnumbered Ship delegation.
Here, on October 11, 1962, the first unnumbered wooden ship with the symbol Phuong Dong 1, commanded by Captain Le Van Mot and Political Commissar Bong Van Dia, departed from Wharf K-15 in Do Son (Hai Phong) carrying 30 tons of weapons, safely docked at Vam Lung Wharf.

From 1962 to 1970, Vam Lung Wharf received 75 ships, with over 4,400 tons of weapons and equipment to support the Southern battlefield, contributing to the Great Spring Victory of 1975.

On April 24, 2025, in Ngoc Hien district, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a special national relic of the Ho Chi Minh Sea (Vam Lung Wharf - Ca Mau province).

Promoting the value of special National Monuments not only contributes to preserving cultural heritage and educating people about revolutionary traditions, but also builds destinations to attract tourists to visit and research, thereby promoting the development of local tourism.
