Mooc stream is located in Phong Nha commune, Quang Tri province, about 22km from Phong Nha cave. Starting from the center of Dong Hoi, visitors go about 60km to the Northwest, along the West branch of the Ho Chi Minh road towards Phong Nha - Ke Bang. This road is very beautiful and convenient for both motorbikes and cars.
Hidden under the dense forest canopy of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, this pristine stream is an ideal hot escape point. The stream water here originates from the underground river system inside the limestone mountain ranges, so it always maintains an ideal cool temperature, only fluctuating from 16 - 20 degrees Celsius.
The attraction of Moọc stream lies in its year-round blue water, especially on hot summer days, the water is strangely clear.

In the local language, "mooc" means "sprout", referring to water columns spraying from the ground forming a stream. The stream of water sometimes creeps through the rocky crevices gently, sometimes slowly flows along the rubies, then suddenly disappears into the rock crevices before pouring back up as if rising from another rock crevice.
Surrounding the stream are shady ancient trees, creating a fresh and peaceful atmosphere. Along the stream bank, large and small stones linger all over the walkway, interspersed with slender bamboo bridges reflecting themselves in the winding water. That pristine but poetic scene brings visitors a feeling of adventure and exploration.
To relieve the stuffy heat, visitors can participate in exciting entertainment and sports activities such as swimming, kayaking, fishing, or ziplining...

Ms. Thu Huyen, a tourist from Hanoi excitedly shared about Mooc stream: "Although the weather is extremely hot, if the streets are stuffy, coming here feels completely different. The stream water is cold, the air is fresh, and children really like to bathe in the stream and explore nature.
The most ideal time to explore Moọc stream is from May to August. This is when the weather is hot, suitable for bathing in the stream and the stream also becomes cool and clearest.
