Hidden in the old forest of the Hoang Lien Son range, Suoi Vang - Love Waterfall has long become one of the most poetic destinations in Sa Pa.
Not only attractive by its pristine natural scenery, this place also captivates visitors with its poetic and special meaningful name behind it.

Suoi Vang - Love Waterfall tourist area is located in the Tram Ton - Nui Xe area, close to the top of O Quy Ho pass, about 14 - 15 km from the center of Sa Pa.
From the center of Sa Pa, tourists can move along National Highway 4D towards O Quy Ho Pass, buy tickets and park their car at the tourist area gate, then walk through the forest for about 10-20 minutes to reach the waterfall in the middle of the great forest.
Right from the entrance, the scenery has reminded many people of a fairytale forest. The small paved road weaving through bamboo forests, old forests, beside the ears is the sound of streams murmuring, the sound of wild birds echoing.

The dim space, the sunlight through the foliage creates magical bright and dark patches, making every step a memorable experience.
The name "Suoi Vang" originates from the very unique beauty of the water here.
When the sun shines down, the stream surface shines sparkling rays reflected from the gravel at the bottom, creating a feeling of being covered with a gentle golden layer. That natural effect has made local people give the stream a name rich in imagery and poetic quality.

From the stream winding through the old forest, visitors following the trail will encounter Love Falls. From a height of more than 100 meters, the water flows down softly like a white silk strip amidst the vast green background of the mountains and forests. Not noisy and fierce, the waterfall has a beauty that is both spacious and gentle, creating a scene full of lyrical quality.
The name "Love Falls" is associated with a legendary legend.
Legend has it that in ancient times there were seven fairies descending to earth, in which the youngest fairy met O Quy Ho - the son of the mountain god - when he was engrossed in playing the flute in the bamboo forest. The melodious sound, sometimes deep, sometimes high, of the flute made her fascinated, forgetting the way to heaven.
From then on, she often secretly went down to the lower world to meet him, chat together, immerse herself in nature and animals. Love blossomed in the wild mountains and forests, but was then discovered and forbidden by heaven.
Unable to meet his loved one again, the longing made Mr. O Quy Ho painful, tears flowing down turned into a white waterfall. People later called it Love Falls, and the water flowing at the foot of the waterfall was Suoi Vang. As for the fairy, because of deep longing, she transformed into a bird calling out her lover's name in the mountains and forests every day.

The combination of majestic nature and a romantic love story has made this place a special destination, attracting not only domestic tourists but also international tourists. Many people when setting foot here cannot help but admire the beauty that is both pristine and poetic - a beauty that is not easy to find in crowded tourist destinations.
Coming to Suoi Vang - Love Waterfall, visitors can stroll along the stream, check-in in the green forest, or stop at the foot of the waterfall to enjoy the cool water. This is also an ideal place for those who love trekking, exploring nature and seeking peace in the great forest.
