The incense offering and flag-raising ceremony is the opening ceremony for the 2025 Do Son Traditional Buffalo fighting Festival with the desire for a festival season with favorable weather, safe and vibrant gatherings.
Immediately after the incense offering and flag-raising ceremony at Nghe Temple and Nam Hai Than Vuong Temple, the Organizing Committee of the Do Son Traditional Buffalo fighting Festival organized 3 delegations to attend the incense offering and flag-raising ceremony at Ngoc Xuyen Communal House, Nam Communal House, Ngoc Hai Communal House in Do Son Ward.
Within the framework of the traditional Do Son buffalo fighting festival, the Water Ride will take place on September 28 (ie August 7 of the lunar calendar) at Nghe Temple; the God festival will take place on the night of September 29 (ie August 8 of the lunar calendar) at Nghe Temple and the Ward Center Stadium; the buffalo giving ceremony will take place at the stadium and the offerings at the communal houses of winning wards will take place on October 1 (ie August 10 of the lunar calendar).
The Tong Than ceremony took place on October 7 (ie August 16 of the lunar calendar) at Nghe Temple. The festival will officially take place from 7:30 a.m. on September 30 at Do Son Ward Central Stadium.
