Phu Dien communal house is a typical item in the relic complex. According to records, from the 3rd century, after Ba Trieu sacrificed on Tung mountain, people built a communal house to worship and honor her as the village tutelary god. By the 18th century, the communal house was built according to the architecture of Bac Bo village communal houses.
Through hundreds of years of historical ups and downs, the communal house is still quite intact. The project includes main items such as: Nghinh Mon, Dai Dinh building, front hall and rear palace.

Currently, Phu Dien communal house still preserves more than 60 ancient imperial decrees from many feudal dynasties. These are considered precious documents, carefully preserved by local people.
Not only is it a place to preserve historical imprints, the communal house is also a space for community cultural activities of people through many generations.
Every year, in February of the lunar calendar, along with the Ba Trieu Temple festival, many traditional activities take place at Phu Dien communal house such as ceremonies, palanquin processions to commemorate Ba Trieu's merits, praying for favorable weather. The activities attract a large number of people and tourists to participate.
On April 8, representatives of the Management Board of Ho Citadel and key relics of Thanh Hoa province said that the preparation for the Ba Trieu Temple Festival 2026 has been completed, ready to open on April 9. The festival takes place from April 8-10 on a provincial scale.
Before the opening of the festival, the national special historical and architectural art relic complex of Ba Trieu Temple - including the temple, mausoleum, Ban The temple, Phu Dien communal house and related items - has been decorated, creating a solemn atmosphere.
