Binh Thuy Ancient House is located at 144 Bui Huu Nghia Street, Binh Thuy Ward, Can Tho City. The house is over 150 years old.
According to many historical records, at the end of the 18th century, the Duong family of intellectual merchants made a trip to Can Tho estuary in the Southwest region. Seeing that this place had fertile alluvial soil, lush vegetation all year round, and favorable weather, the family decided to choose this land to settle down and make a living.

Initially, the house was built of wood and tiles, but over time, the house deteriorated so the family had it redesigned and rebuilt.
The total area of the house is about 6,000m2, spacious and airy. For hundreds of years, the house has witnessed many historical ups and downs of the Tay Do region in particular and the South in general.
Previously, the house attracted many film crews to come here to film ancient scenes, including a series of famous and widely known films such as Nguoi dep Tay Do, No doi, Nguoi tinh... With its architectural and historical value, Binh Thuy ancient house was recognized as a national art relic in 2009.
