Modest in scale (6.7ha) and only recently added to the An Giang province tourism map, Con En Eco-tourism Area, located in Tan My Commune (Cho Moi District), has quickly become one of the top tourist destinations in the Mekong Delta. Perhaps it is the special geographical position that has given this place an unmatched charm.
Lying on the eastern bank of Con En, rising in the middle of the Tien River headwaters, this eco-tourism area is considered the “hinge” of land and water. Leaning on the alluvial soil with green trees and fruits all year round, the island faces the immense river with waves of the Mekong River downstream. Coming here, visitors can immerse themselves in the fresh nature; enjoy water activities such as: bathing in the natural golden sand dunes, rowing a sampan, etc.
After hours of fun, visitors continue to experience the refreshing feeling of "garden civilization" with fresh fruits grown on site... Especially, this place always has natural fish and shrimp that are considered specialties, such as: snakehead fish, green-legged shrimp... processed in the Southern culinary style, not only replenishing energy but also making visitors linger to return soon.
