In WOW HO CHI MINH CITY episode 13 with the theme "HCMC - World culinary treasure", two guests, singer Gin Tuan Kiet and actress Puka, have a journey to explore the unique features of HCMC cuisine and street space.
Puka said she is excited and wants to explore many new aspects of Ho Chi Minh City. Meanwhile, Gin Tuan Kiet wants to introduce to friends around the world the corners of the city along with the most wonderful dishes and drinks through the journey.
The whole team started with a "national" combo of bread and iced milk coffee. Enjoying a crispy loaf of bread - a dish ranked 7th in the top 100 best street foods in the world voted by CNN, Puka recalled when she first came to Ho Chi Minh City to start a career: "At first, Pu ate bread because she didn't have money, every morning she only ate one loaf for 6,000 VND".
Gin Tuan Kiet shared that the combo of bread and iced milk coffee is affordable, convenient for office workers to eat breakfast, and also brings abundant energy, imbued with Vietnamese identity.

The first stop of the group was a vợt coffee shop on Phan Dinh Phung street (Cau Kieu ward). The shop is over 80 years old, passed down through 3 generations from grandparents, parents and opens all night, so people jokingly call it "sleepless coffee".
Puka chose milk coffee with less coffee, while Gin Tuan Kiet enjoyed unsweetened iced coffee. Tasting it, the male singer praised the fragrant smell of coffee and clearly felt the rich and pure taste.
In particular, the artists personally experienced the process of making traditional racket coffee. Despite a little shaking his hands when holding the mixing racket, Gin Tuan Kiet still completed it smoothly thanks to the encouragement of Puka with the folk song "Couple wives and husbands scoop up the East Sea is also shallow". After that, the whole group brought delicious cups of coffee to give to the audience around the area.
Leaving the old coffee shop, the group went to Tan Dinh market (Tan Dinh ward). Gin Tuan Kiet introduced this as a market with diverse goods, attracting foreign tourists to visit and shop. Puka agreed and said that the cuisine here is rich and delicious.
At the culinary area, the whole group enjoyed tea. Puka chose ginseng to nourish energy, while Gin Tuan Kiet introduced a glass of Thai tea. After that, Puka invited a foreign tourist to try durian, but this person was hesitant because of the strange smell, so she switched to inviting ripe mangoes.

The program set out the task of using 500,000 VND to buy at least 5 types of fruits with names including 3 words and clearly identifying the origin. The whole team completed the challenge with 5 types of fruits including Da Lat bananas, green-skinned grapefruit, purple star apple, chewy custard apple and red dragon fruit.
Closing the traditional market experience, the artists strolled through Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, admired apartment building 42 Nguyen Hue and enjoyed the culinary complex space, participated in street games of young people.
To reach the final stop, the delegation experienced the Metro urban railway line. From the City Opera House station to Van Thanh Park station, the delegation only took a few short minutes to arrive at Van Thanh Park.
